Luis Reyes García at his Nahuatl seminar at the Autonomous University in Tlaxcala. This prolific scholar, responsible for many publications bringing to light colonial manuscripts and illuminating the lives of central Mexican indigenous peoples under Spanish colonialism, passed away in 2004.
